ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Art Director (L3), you will lead visual concept development and creative delivery for client projects. This role is crucial in crafting strategic, memorable concepts that communicate effectively and drive performance. You will share ownership of the final creative delivery with the Strategist and/or Producer, ensuring briefs are executed with hight-quality visuals that leverage creative strategy and digital marketing expertise. In the absence of a Strategist or Producer, you will be the main creative point of contact for clients, responsible for mapping out delivery timelines and supporting project scoping. This position requires extensive experience as an Art Director, with a proven track record of similar responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide your Team
- Lead creative delivery, together with Strategists/Producers, developing concepts, and executing exceptional presentations while ensuring alignment with strategic goals and high-quality visual excellence.
- Guide and mentor junior art directors, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Assist in managing and prioritizing tasks, both yours and those of junior colleagues, to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Support to establish standards for art direction and best practices within the team.
- Participate in setting team goals and focus areas, contributing to the overall strategy.
Master Your Craft
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation, both within the team and on projects, by staying updated on trends and best practices in digital marketing.
- Lead client meetings, pitches, and presentations (often in collaboration with Strategists and Producers), showcasing our creative capabilities and solutions.
- Foster stable and successful client relationships.
- Identify and drive opportunities to expand client scopes.
- Advocate for digital creative and our Creative Service Offering, inspiring, and building credibility with both clients and internal teams.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Creative Expertise & Strategy: Expert in design tools (Adobe CC, Figma), graphic design principles, and digital marketing best practices (channels, formats, testing), with a proactive approach to emerging technologies. A strategic thinker who collaborates closely with strategists to translate insights into innovative, high-quality visual concepts aligned with brand goals and audience needs.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong communicator with excellent collaboration skills, able to articulate creative ideas effectively to stakeholders, build trust with clients, and deliver compelling pitches and presentations that drive business opportunities.
- Adaptability & Innovation: Actively explores and implements new tools, techniques, and processes to address creative challenges and improve team workflows.
- Visual Storytelling & Performance: Skilled in crafting engaging visual narratives that resonate with audiences and drive performance.
- Leadership & Team Support: Balances strong time management with team support, guiding scheduling and workflow planning. Provides mentorship to junior art directors, fostering growth and creative excellence.

- The annual salary bracket for this role is $100 000 - $130 000.
