About the Role

We are seeking an operational powerhouse and technical expert to join us as our IT Manager. In this position, you will act as the operational custodian of our central IT environment, ensuring our infrastructure is highly resilient, secure, and seamlessly aligned with our business goals.

Rather than working in a strategic vacuum, you will be the crucial technical bridge, collaborating closely with company leadership to translate compliance and information security frameworks into functional, day-to-day IT realities. You will own the operational maintenance, monitoring, and execution of our infrastructure while leading and inspiring a dedicated internal IT team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 💼

• IT operations management: Lead day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, managing the software lifecycle (procurement, configuration, deployment, and ongoing security tuning).

• Technical resilience & backups: Administer our data backup infrastructure and routinely execute technical recovery and restoration tests.

• Incident response triage: Maintain and run technical workflows within our incident playbooks, conducting the day-to-day log monitoring and event tracking required to satisfy modern 24h/72h regulatory incident response timelines.

• Supply chain security monitoring: Administer technical configurations and perform ongoing technical access reviews of all third-party software, SaaS applications, and infrastructure vendors.

• Leadership support: Compile data-driven technical metrics, configuration audits, and system maturity statistics to support executive management’s mandatory cybersecurity risk oversight.

• Team leadership: Manage, guide, and support IT colleagues, leveraging both junior and senior administrators to co-develop the technical roadmap and drive continuous process optimization.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✔️

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Seniority: Minimum 5 years of experience in a software administration or IT managing role

• Platform expertise: Advanced configuration and administration knowledge of directory services (SAML, SSO) and enterprise ecosystems, specifically Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra.

• APIs: Experience working with APIs (e.g., REST API) for integration and optimization to design, integrate, and deploy efficient solutions.

• Technical hygiene mastery: First-hand experience executing identity lifecycle management, secure configuration baselines, and modern email authentication protocols (DMARC/DKIM/SPF).

• Compliance framework literacy: A strong operational understanding of how GDPR, the EU NIS2 Directive and the Swedish Cybersäkerhetslag (2025:1506) impact day-to-day IT systems administration.

• Security framework exposure: A proven track record of administering IT infrastructure in alignment with frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 or NIST controls.

• Hardware & networks: Strong understanding of hardware components and network connectivity.

Communication & judgment: Exceptional ability to evaluate solutions from technical and operational perspectives, with the communication skills needed to clearly translate IT value to company stakeholders.
