ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Lead B2B SEO & AEO Strategist, you lead SEO & AEO strategy across a portfolio of B2B clients which spans SaaS, enterprise software, professional services, FinTech, manufacturing, and other considered-purchase categories. You understand that B2B buyer journeys are non-linear, multi-stakeholder, and measured in pipeline and revenue rather than transactions, and you build strategies accordingly.
You're a hands-on leader, equally comfortable defining the high-level roadmap and diving deep into execution. You balance strategic planning for complex B2B accounts with the active, day-to-day delivery of core technical and content deliverables, mentoring team members, and driving measurable commercial outcomes. You translate board-level goals into SEO & AEO roadmaps, and you take personal ownership of executing the high-impact components of those plans. You partner closely with marketing, demand generation, RevOps and sales teams so that organic and answer-engine visibility convert into qualified pipeline, not just traffic.
You champion bespoke B2B processes built for the realities of the space: long sales cycles, buying committees, ABM alignment, and the growing role of LLMs and answer engines in technical buyer research. You actively seek inspiration from both internal and external sources, integrating new approaches and learnings into client strategies, team practices, and personal development. Lead by example, create an environment of excellence where high standards are consistently met and exceeded, and help the wider B2B organisation continually level up.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING đź’Ľ
Lead a portfolio of B2B SEO & AEO client engagements across industries such as SaaS, enterprise software, FinTech, professional services, and manufacturing
Develop quarterly SEO & AEO objectives tied to B2B commercial KPIs (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, influenced revenue, LTV:CAC)
Build and communicate B2B SEO & AEO roadmaps that address the full buyer journey: awareness, consideration, decision, and post-purchase expansion
Hands-on execution of deep technical tasks, including ICP-led keyword and entity research, buying-committee content mapping, and the configuration of pipeline attribution frameworks, AEO positioning for LLM-driven research - and codify them into the agency's B2B playbook
Collaborate with Paid Media, CRO, content, and client-side demand gen / ABM teams to build integrated B2B marketing plans. This is crucial as we aim to deliver a world class customer experience while operating as one Precis.
Define B2B-specific KPIs, not only rankings and traffic, but share of voice in LLM/AEO responses, assisted pipeline, SQO contribution, and content-influenced closed-won revenue, and regularly monitor performance against them
Actively grow commercial opportunities across the portfolio through upsell, cross-sell, retainer expansion, and identifying new service lines (e.g., AEO audits, category design programmes, ABM-aligned content engines)
Lead by example through direct execution. While you guide the Craft team, you are also expected to independently conduct complex technical SEO audits, author high-tier content briefs for thought leadership, and map out advanced AEO positioning.
Maintain accountability for the actual billable output on key local accounts, ensuring that your own hours are actively utilised on strategic implementation, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✔️

Proven success in leading SEO & AEO strategies for B2B organisations — SaaS, enterprise software, FinTech, professional services, manufacturing, or similar — with demonstrable commercial impact (pipeline, SQLs, ARR influence)
Deep understanding of B2B buyer journeys, buying committees, ICP and persona development, and how organic search and AEO map across the funnel
Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, confident presenting to CMOs, VPs of Marketing, Heads of Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and other senior B2B stakeholders
Skilled at prioritising and managing time across multiple B2B accounts, balancing your time between client-facing meetings and dedicated, heads-down execution blocks. We are not going to be telling you how to do your job or sort out your priorities. If you like to be micro-managed, this is not for you.
Advanced, everyday practitioner in Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and emerging AEO tooling. You are not just pulling reports; you are diagnosing technical root causes and building the solutions yourself.
Comfortable mentoring and coaching others, and giving structured feedback that changes things for the better.
Fluency in English and preferably also one of the Scandinavian languages.
