📍 Remote – from Italy

We're looking for a Senior Analytics Specialist to join our Italian team. You'll sit at the bridge between analytics, product and client teams: designing tracking and measurement solutions on one side, and shaping how complex client setups are designed, built and launched on Alvie on the other.
Alvie is our proprietary performance marketing platform, built in-house at Precis by marketers, for marketers. It gives clients a single, unbiased view of their performance across channels, with cross-channel attribution, custom reporting and budget recommendations tied to real business goals. It's one of our biggest strengths on the measurement side and a core part of how we create value for clients, so this role puts you close to a product that genuinely sets us apart.
With solid, hands-on experience in analytics and data platforms, you enjoy turning messy, complex setups into clean, reliable ones. You can own work end to end with little oversight, and you like partnering with colleagues and clients to make measurement genuinely useful, sharing insights and expertise along the way. You're comfortable with concepts like attribution, reporting, budget optimisation, and event-signal optimisation.
We offer a dynamic, curiosity-driven culture where innovation is at the forefront. You'll work with some of the industry's best in digital marketing and martech, all driven to explore new frontiers in a supportive, collaborative environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 💼
Design and implement measurement and tracking plans across websites and mobile apps, keeping data quality high by diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Lead complex, non-standard client onboarding on Alvie, from requirements through launch, making sure each setup becomes a success story rather than a support ticket.
Build and maintain dedicated client reporting in Alvie, turning marketing data into clear, decision-ready views for clients and internal teams.
Review configurations, lookup files and data mapping to ensure every setup meets a high standard of data quality and measurement integrity before it goes live.
Translate business goals (e.g. bidding efficiency, attribution shifts) into clear data and configuration requirements, and help refine the Design → Build → Launch framework used across clients.
Partner with commercial teams to assess feasibility and implementation complexity, and join client conversations to explain setup possibilities and data requirements with technical confidence.
Provide strategic guidance to clients on their analytics architecture, and build internal enablement (templates, validation checklists, training) that reduces dependency on tech.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ✔️
3+ years in analytics, adtech or data/measurement roles.
Analytics & Tag Management: Strong, hands-on knowledge of web analytics platforms (primarily GA4/GA360) and tag management systems (primarily GTM). You can plan and QA an end-to-end measurement setup, design data layer specifications and write clear tagging instructions to hand over to development teams, and you're comfortable working with server-side tracking.
Technical Foundations: A good understanding of JavaScript, web technologies (e.g. cookies, HTTP requests) and product APIs and of how data flows through marketing and measurement ecosystems.
Analysis & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to diagnosing tracking and data issues, getting to the root cause and fixing it rather than patching symptoms.
Ownership of Complex Setups: Proven ability to manage complex client implementations or integrations end to end, with minimal supervision.
Process Mindset: Comfortable owning new processes and bringing structure where none exists, rather than waiting for it to be defined.
Stakeholder Communication & Project Management: An excellent communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical teams and keep timelines on track.
Nice to have: App analytics knowledge (e.g. Firebase, Appsflyer/Adjust, Amplitude/Mixpanel, SKAdNetwork); familiarity with the Google Cloud environment and tools such as BigQuery and Dataform; experience with automation tools (e.g. n8n, Make); an engineering or development background and an appetite for building AI-driven solutions.
